While the political elite in Brussels and Strasbourg is determined to decide the future, popular support for further political and economic integration appears to be falling quickly. The new “EU Critic’s Yearbook” is a comprehensive resume of the most important events and initiatives during the last year in the EU.
This edition of the EU Critic’s yearbook will give the reader a resume of the past years most important events and developments in European politics and an in-depth look at the most important final votes in the European Parliament. The report also contains an overview of what the public thinks about European integration. All statistics are gathered from well-known institutes, primarily the European Commission and the Pew Research Center. The last chapter of this year’s report is a study of the Greek neonazi party Golden Dawn.
